Get up and go on. The downfall of a man is not the end of his life!

That failure is not final. That you failed does not make you a failure. You have to realize that failure is just an event, it is never a person. So, get up and go on!

No one fails because he/she failed. People fail because they never tried again. So, get up and get going. Your downfall is not the end of your story.

Life is not a question of whether you get knocked down once, it is a question of whether you get up again. So, get up and go on!

Have you failed in business? Hear what Akio Morita, co-founder of Sony Corporation said: “An entrepreneur is one who falls down seven times and gets up eight times!” Get up and go on!

Are you struggling in your walk with God? Get up and go on. “For a just man falleth seven times, and riseth up again…” (See Proverbs 24:16 KJV) We fall down but we get up! A saint is just a sinner who fell down and got up! (Remember that line from the song by Donnie McClurkin.)

The prophet Micah said, “Therefore I will look unto the LORD; I will wait for the God of my salvation: my God will hear me. Rejoice not against me, O mine enemy: when I fall, I shall arise; when I sit in darkness, the LORD shall be a light unto me.” (Micah 7:7-8 KJV) Come on, get up, and go on!

Get up and get going. You may have been knocked down, but you’re not knocked out! The man who wins might have been knocked out but he never heard the referee! I am here speaking to you with the voice of Jehovah God, “IT IS NOT OVER YET!” Stay in the ring. Get up and go on!

Even if you’re down and out, you can still make it. Get up and go on!

I echo the words of Paul: “We are troubled on every side, yet not distressed; we are perplexed, but not in despair; persecuted, but not forsaken; cast down, but not destroyed…” (See 2 Corinthians 4:8-9). Or if I may put it in more contemporary language: “We are handicapped on all sides, but we are never frustrated; we are puzzled, but never in despair. We are persecuted, but we never have to stand it alone: WE MAY BE KNOCKED DOWN BUT WE ARE NEVER KNOCKED OUT!” (J. B. Phillips) See, we may be down, but not out! So, get up and go on!

I believe in you, dear friend. You just have to get up and go on. YOU WILL SUCCEED!

Welcome to a new working week. What do you want to accomplish this week? What is that goal you’ll like to achieve? Will you waste this week? I share with you this quote:

You will succeed!

Thoughts To Chew On

“I believe the leaders who will have the biggest impact on the world of the future –a world that desperately needs Christ – are those who are learners more than knowers. They are willing to learn from one another. They are passionate about learning from their mistakes as well as their successes. And they constantly choose to put themselves in learning environments.” – Dave Stone

Are you such a leader?

Every hardship has a lifespan. Every problem has got an expiry date. Even a long-lasting problem will meet its match in our everlasting God!

No condition is permanent! Barriers will become bridges. Stumbling blocks will become stepping stones. Obstacles will become opportunities. So, wait your storm out.

Tough times don’t last, only tough men do. We go through in order to get through. And there is no breakthrough without a passing through. I like what Joyce Meyer once said, “There are no drive-through breakthroughs!” How apt!

If you will hold your ground and take your stand in faith, you will outlast your storms. Great storms have been known to give rise to great calm. And there is yet no great victory without great confrontation. The devil wouldn’t fight what he does not fear. It’s because your destiny is worth it, that’s why the conflict is this heavy.

“And it came to pass.” Tell yourself, “This too, will come to pass.” It came, not to stay, but to pass! Weeping may endure for a night but joy comes in the morning. Glory! (See Psalm 30:5)

Escapism is no solution to a problem. Stay put, and go through what you are going through. (No pun intended.) Don’t be tempted to apply a temporary solution to a permanent problem. That’s what alcohol, drugs and stuffs like that gives you. And neither should you apply a permanent solution to a temporary problem – suicide!

Do not run from your hardship. If you cannot press on, hold on. If you cannot keep your head, keep your heart. It is never over until God takes you over. And it will never be over until you win! Enjoy your weekend. You will succeed!

He who risks nothing; attempts nothing, fails at nothing, loses nothing and gains nothing!

It is risky not to take risks. Life itself, I have found, is a risk. To avoid risks is to be in the company of the dead!

When nothing is lost, as a rule, nothing is gained. The aphorism is true: Nothing ventured, nothing gained! In life, you will agree with me, there is no gain without pain. If you are a mother; student or successful entrepreneur, you will bear me witness. I think that’s why the cliché exists, “no pain, no gain”. Success is simply failure turned inside out. Victory is the other side of the coin called ‘defeat’. Oftentimes, the best road to the accomplishment of your dream is the roughest road available. I will admonish you, take that risk!

I’ve learnt not to be intimidated by risks. The kingdom of God has never been known to be advanced by men and women of caution. So, take calculated risks. Risk your pride. Risk your money. Risk your time. Faith is a risk (Luke 9:24). At the other side is God! YOU WILL SUCCEED!
