12 THINGS TO REMEMBER IN 2012

Welcome to a new work week! Every day we need to remind ourselves of some very important lessons and facts crucial to successful living. And as this year 2012 rolls to an end – we have just fifty-seven days more to the end of the year – I want to suggest in these series of posts some twelve facts we should remind ourselves of daily. They are like a daily dozen.

The Bible enjoins in 2 Peter 1: 15 (NKJV), “Moreover I will be careful to ensure that you always have a reminder of these things…”

I agree that true education is measured by what we remember when we’ve forgotten all we’ve learnt! “It’s what you learn after you know it all that counts,” Bernie Bierman said. We daily need to remember:

The Value of TIME
“Teach us to make the most of our time, so that we may grow in wisdom.” This was the prayer of Moses, the man of God in Psalm 90:12 (New Living Translation).

Today, we all need to be reminded of the value of time. Benjamin Franklin wisely said years ago, “Squander not time, dost thou not know that that is the stuff life is made of?” Invest your time then, don’t just spend it. Maximize your moments and the days will but take care of themselves.

Lost wealth may be regained by industry
Lost knowledge by study
Lost health by temperance
But lost time is gone forever!
(Author unknown)

Time is life. Once spent it cannot be regained. Be reminded again of that today. YOU WILL SUCCEED!
