“I’ve found out that if you keep doing something long enough you’ll probably outlast your (opposition) and be a success. The problem is that people quit before they have a chance to be a success.” – Stephen Strang, publisher, Charisma

“So let’s not allow ourselves to get fatigued doing good. At the right time we will harvest a good crop if we don’t give up, or quit.” (Galatians 6:9, The Message)
I do not know what you tried (or have been trying) to accomplish all through 2011 and with just few hours left in the year, you’ve not been able to. I have a word for you: DO NOT GIVE UP YET! God is not limited by years or dates, what He has purposed to do in your life, He will do it! I believe God with you that 2012 will be that year for you. Not that I’m giving up on 2011 yet, I am just saying you don’t rewrite your theology to accommodate your disappointments.
Don’t give up on your PRAYING.
Don’t give up on your BELIEVING.
Don’t give up on your SOWING.
Don’t give up on your THINKING.
Don’t give up on your WORKING.
Listen to me, TRYING TIMES ARE NOT THE TIMES TO QUIT TRYING. Thomas Edison said, “Many of life’s failures are people who did not realize how close they were to success when they gave up.” Your harvest is coming! Do not give up, yet!
Stick-to-itiveness is the mark of champions. Persistent people begin their success where others quit. If you “Quit now, you’ll never make it. If you disregard this advice, you’ll be halfway there.” (David Zucker) I encourage you to hang in there just a little while more. Do not give up, yet! YOU WILL SUCCEED!
You Can’t Stop People From Talking You Down, But You Can Refuse To Be Put Down! When They Put You Down, Do Not Put Yourself Down. Nobody Can Make You Feel Inferior Without Your Permission. Don’t Give Your Permission! That You Look Like A Beggar Does Not Say You Don’t Have A Throne!
No One Can Make You Feel Bad Except You Do Yourself. When They Sell You Short, Don’t Sell Yourself Short. Every Man Is Entitled To Their Opinion. But You Can Choose To Disregard Their Negative Opinions Over Your Life. (Yomi Olufiade, from the book, That I Look Like A Beggar Does Not Say I Do Not Have A Throne!)
Today is Christmas Eve! Tomorrow, Christmas day 2011!
Christmas is the celebration of Christ’s birth. Forget all the hype the world has brought into it. Without the Christ in your Christmas, your celebration is empty. I mean, what meaning do you ascribe to celebrating someone’s birthday without him? Or what do you think?
Christ is the center of Christmas. Christ’s-mass, that is what it is. Period!
He was born that I might be born again.
He died that I may not die again.
He lives so I might live forever!
That God became a man at Christmas.
That man could live like God because of Christmas.
The Word became flesh and dwelt amongst us.
We beheld His glory.
The glory as of the Only begotten of the Father.
What a mystery!
What a love!
What a God!
May the Christ of Christmas fill your heart and home with the love, joy and peace that He brings this season and all year round. MERRY CHRISTMAS!
Now, that is it! I’m done. Celebration mode activated!
